This will be a weird first post for Make Money Fast…  I mean, this will be a weird first post for any site, not just one on Make Money Fast….  See, this isn’t my first post.  I mean, it is.  Okay, let’s start at the beginning.  Ugh.  This is the beginning.  Don’t you hate when people say, “Let’s start at the beginning,” at the beginning?  Yeah, me too.  I say this isn’t my first post because I’ve been blogging for two years now.  On a different site.  One I’m not going to reveal to you.  That’ll be our only secret.  Let’s call my other site, No Duckets. (I’m sure the most industrious of you out there can follow some sort of virtual breadcrumb trail to it, but I’m not going to tell you outright.)  What my “real” site is about is inconsequential.  All that matters is I haven’t made a cent off of it.  Shoot, I wanted honesty and I’m already lying to you.  I have made money.  Just not much.  Now you’re probably thinking no one makes money online, except for the people who lie about making money online and get rich off the suckers who believe their lies.  Yeah, but I should.  I have a Master’s Degree in Liberal Arts (should’ve went to a business school) from a college other than University of Phoenix.  I’m a writer for a living.  My “real” blog has over 2,000 readers.  I’m well-known within my niche.  Magazines are asking me to write for them about my “real” niche.  Someone tried to buy my “real” blog out (the money was laughable bad, but still…).  So I make some money, but I’m not quitting my day job any time soon.  I’m actually starting a night job.  This.

Make Money Fast… is my attempt to, well, make money fast.  (Or die trying?  Nah, probably not.  You’d like that though you schadenfreuders you.)  I decided to start this blog because I found a few things missing from the make money online blogs.  One, honesty.  Two, decent writers.  Three, there’s no three; two’s enough.  (One writer that bucks this is Grizz at Make Money Online.  He’s an entertaining read out there in the minefield of making money malarkey.  +1 for alliteration.)  I suppose it’s the nature of the beast to have dishonest people telling you how to make money as long as it makes them money.  I don’t want to make money like that.

I’m not going to lie to you.  My hope is to make at least $500/month.  I put my goal at $500 because it seems attainable.  Also, I’d like to think if I learn anything from this journey to Make Money Fast… I could then replicate it and make money fast elsewhere.  At least, that’s my thought.  My hope.  To Make Money Fast…
